Dear Homestay student,

My name is Tatiana, and I am happy to welcome you to my home in Vancouver, Canada. I will do my best to make sure that you enjoy your homestay experience.
I first became a homestay host in 2004, and since that time I have hosted many students from Asia, Europe and Latin America. I always try to create a friendly, respectful and supportive environment for students. I often keep in touch with them after they go back to their countries.
I am an English teacher by profession and I have been teaching communication courses at one of our universities since 1995.
My house is situated on a quiet tree-lined street in a family-oriented neigbourhood. It is not far from the centre of the city, and it is close to a park. I like walking in this park, and I like cooking home-made meals for homestay students. I also like learning about different countries, their culture, history, customs and traditions.

Dear Homestay student,

FlorenciaWelcome to Vancouver! My name is Florencia Pyzik, my family and I are pleased to welcome you to our home. We treat our students as a family; we make sure that he or she is happy, safe, and comfortable in our home. We always make sure that we do our best so that our students enjoy their homestay experience.

We have been hosting a lot of International students from different countries for so many years now. We always make sure that we create a friendly, supportive, and respectful environment for the students. We keep in touch with our students even if they are long gone in Vancouver. As a matter of fact, we had one female Japanese student who stayed in our home for nine months in 2005. When she came back for a visit in Vancouver in 2008 for one week and in 2011, she stayed in our home like she is part of our family with free of charge.
I am an accountant by profession and I have been in accounting career for many years. I enjoy walking our dog at the park and I like cooking home-made meals for homestay students. I like to know about different countries and chatting with our students to learn their cultures, history, customs, traditions, and family are very educational.
My house is a three-minutes walk to the 29th Avenue Skytrain station and fifteen minutes away to Downtown, Vancouver by Skytrain. We live in a peaceful tree-lined street in a family oriented neighborhood which is very close to the center of the city, parks, and community center.
We look forward to welcoming you to our humble home in Vancouver.
Best Regards,

Florencia Pyzik and family
